There are amazing young people all over this world.  We were blessed to have such a group visit us at the Broadmoor on Saturday, June 13, 2009 to raise their voices to the heavens and lift our spirits.  The Liberty Truth & Deliverance Youth Mission-Group are truly amazing.  This very talented and dedicated youth vary in ages from 6 yrs through young teens.  Such talent!  The residents were thrilled and we were thoroughly entertained and ministered too.  Just when one may give up on our youth…Don’t, this is another wonderful display of God working in everyone and yes our young.  The LTD Youth Mission group volunteers their time to practice and visit those in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.  This dedicated group shares their gifts and talents with so many, that would not be able to hear their beautiful voices, through their calling to minister with joy, enthusiasm and the love of our heavenly Father.

The devoted group of young people are under the leadership of Missionary April Barber and the faithful parents are instrumental in the success of this mission. God bless our youth and their dedicated parents, Missionary April and Pastor William Copland for their vision within this amazing outreach program.

This is my friend, Emily.  We have a good time together.  Emily gives me commands and I listen to her.  Charlie gives Emily instructions on my commands, leash management and the most special incentive for me is saying “that’s it” as encouragement to me while I am completing the command I was given.  Emily is Charlie’s # 1 Assistant.  Emily listens and learns!  We are learning together.

This was a resting place for me on the stairs with Emily, I love having my head rest on her lap.  I’m in a good place!

November 15, 2008 – Graduation Day! 

Our first official CCI and family photo. My Mom, Raye and Aunti Chris (BFF) and a thrilled me (Charlie) with our girl – Jenna!  This was the beginning of my hands on joy of being part of CCI and all Canines within this wonderful organaztion are amazing and God is working His wonders that bring such happeness to many.

My friend and companion Jenna during our team training experience in November 2008 at the Canine Companions for Independence Southeast Regional Training Center in Orlando, Florida.  Dorm life is the best!  She is a great roomate and partner.  We are looking forward to many years of working within our community with Jenna’s gift!
